FitDesk v2.0 Desk Exercise Bike with Massage Bar

In order to be used in homes and offices, FitDesk v2.0 exercise bike is rather quiet. It has twin belt system with high velocity flywheel, combined with digital resistance meter which tracks workout parameters like mileage, calories and time. Exercise bike provides 10 levels of resistance.

Note that if you use the laptop, the display will be located behind laptop screen - you will have to almost fully close the laptop in order to see the display. Personally, it would be nice to be able to move display left and/or right in order to see it and laptop screen at the same time.

Design is rather compact and even when in use, it doesn't require much space.

Adjustable desk surface is large enough (16 x 19 inches - 40 x 48 cm) to fit laptops, magazines, tablets and more - it allows one to do simpler desk jobs while spinning the pedals. Surface of the desk is non-slippery, but optical mouse don't work very well on it - use mouse pad, if it fits.

Note: it takes some time to get used to doing two things at the same time, but after just few sessions, one forgets the bike. If you use this bike at the office, keep the resistance to the minimum and use AC unit to lower the temperature in order to prevent sweating.

When not in use, it can be easily folded and thanks to transport wheels, easily stored away for future use.

Maximum recommended user weight is 250 pounds (~113 kg) - bike looks 'skinny', but the frame is solid for 250 pound user. If you are heavier, you need stronger and more robust bike.

FitDesk v2.0 exercise bike weighs 45 pounds (~20.5 kg) and its physical dimensions are 45 x 28 x 16 inches (~115 x 71 x 41 cm) - it is rather compact. Personally, I wouldn't mind if it is little bit wider, at least at the base - it would make it more stable and desk could be wider to accommodate both laptop and normal size mouse pad.

Resistance bands can be used to workout biceps, shoulders, upper back and upper chest and can help one tone the upper body. They are far from being able to replace good gym workout, but they are there just to supplement cardio workout and should be used for that.

Unit comes with 1-year warranty.

Its surface is also non-slippery, it includes a mouse pad and a drink/bottle holder.

Bike/desk combos can help one burn plenty of calories, even during low cardio activities. If you do need more space, and if you and your colleagues and friends are going to spend hours per day on this bike, you need more desk area. Each side is ~7 inches (~17.5 cm) wide and 18 inches (~45.5 cm) long. The kit includes all required hardware and is easy to install, but also to remove.
