Yoga Retreats

Most activities we do have special events in dream locations, and yoga is no different.  Where golf and tennis have golf and tennis schools, yoga has yoga retreats.

And similar to say golf and tennis, anyone of any ability can benefit from going go to a yoga retreat. Outside of those few extremely dedicated yoga practitioners, few people know that there are actually entire retreats dedicated to yoga and learning more about yourself and expanding your yoga practice.

A yoga retreat is intended to help you improve your yoga while reliveing stress (afterall, this may be a retreat but it's part vacation too!).  Many retreats cater for several different lengths of stay from overnight to a couple of weeks.

Yoga retreats vary in price, but you can expect to spend what you would normally on a weeklong vacation in a hotel.

Most of the time, yoga retreats have include both room and board as many focus not only on physical activities, but also on how to fuel those activities, so they tend to have very specific foods they would like you to eat during the retreat.  So, the price is typically all inclusiveyou pay one price and thats all.

Yoga Retreat Locations

Yoga retreats are just about everywhere you can think of.  If you are lucky and have some frequent flyer miles, you could go on a yoga retreat in some exotic locations in the Caribbean, Virgin Islands, Europe and Asia.

As with any activity, if you want to improve, you can do so with an intense period of learning and that's why a yoga retreat may be the perfect next step for you.
