As said before, this is a little bit heavier elliptical (68kg, 150 pounds), but it also has max user weight of 136kg (300 pounds). Due to transport wheels, it is easily moved around, but it also has 6 leveling points - if possible, place this exercise machine on it's spot, level it there and use it whenever you can.

It has very intuitive controls, relatively large LCD screen (good solid LCD screen, but nothing ultra special), customizable programs, heart rate monitor and other features that help with any specific fitness goals like build endurance, build stamina, burn fat etc.

Like any other elliptical exercise machine, Schwinn 425 can help in increasing energy expenditure, burning fat and toning muscles of entire body - I say 'toning', since cardio exercises hardly can build new muscles like workouts with weights.

Anyway, to get into the shape, follow reasonable diet with calorie deficit of some 500 calories per day below your maintenance level, sleep and rest enough and eat properly. If you are going for a diet, or you plan on losing plenty of weight, check your health at your doctor or physician. After all, they can recommend you maximum heart rate during exercises - this is especially important for heavier people having office jobs.
