Let’s assume that you have talked with your doctor about your fitness program and you’ve got the all clear. Now what?
From my own experience, if you don’t have a home fitness plan, you’re likely to jump on that fitness machine and work out like crazy…for a few weeks, max! Then things will taper off a bit. Then a few weeks later, perhaps with summer just around the corner, you’ll jump back on again, and once summer is over, you’ll stop again.
So let’s talk about how you incorporate exercise in your life with a Home Fitness Plan. Afterall, if you've gone to the expense of investing in home fitness equipment, you might as wel get the most out of it.
There are a multitude of exercise and fitness books. Pick the one you like the best which has a daily workout plan. Then do one thing and one thing only. Follow the Home Fitness Plan. Don’t skip a day, don’t skip an exercise. Don’t try to out think the plan by substituting exercises of your own.
Keep things simple, and just follow the Home Fitness Plan of your choice, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the results!
The Importance of having a Sound Home Fitness Plan
When people try to exercise at home, they usually behave very indulgently with themselves. If they are tired they stop, if they do not feel like exercising they put it off, and so on. Now, this is not possible if you have a home fitness plan of action, where you will have a time schedule made and maintained by your exercise instructor. The home fitness plan will tell you how far you should go and when you will find your results.
The most important part of the home fitness plan is the fact that it gives you hope that it can happen. Unfortunately the exercises, however good these are and no matter how much one is dedicated, would not be very effective without a proper fitness plan put into action.
Have a good instructor who could design what type of exercise you should do to reduce fat, to build muscle, or to stay active. Once you have the exercise sequence in the home fitness plan figured out, you can do the exercise anytime you want. In fact, the greatest thing in having a home fitness plan is that you can do the exercise whenever you want without losing the thread on what you should do and how much you have to achieve.
The importance of the home fitness plan does not end here. It is also very important to know how much you can bend, stretch, etc to that you will not be too uncomfortable while exercising. Also, you are advised to keep an instructor during the workout, at least for the initial one-two weeks time. This is because you will need to know not only what type of exercises you should do, but also should take note of what diet you should follow for the best possible results.
