Building Muscle Fast

Once you've decided to get in shape, it's inevitable that you'll want to start building muscle fast. Making the  decision to bulk up and get a better physique is somewhat inspiring and it brings out the impatience in all of us.

There are plenty of healthy ways to go about building muscle fast, and beware, there are also inefficient methods.

If you want to get your biceps bulging and those abs ripped then here’s the bottom line.  There are no shortcuts.

Finding a diet for building muscle fast

To get started, checkout the health and fitness magazines in you local store and look for healthy diet plans that promote the quick growth of muscle. If you're planning on building muscle quickly then you had also better plan on eating right.

This will entail a change of diet and in particular, means lots of protein. Chicken and fish especially salmon are great places to start.  Both are great sources of protein.

Or consider cottage cheese which you can mix with fruit like pears or peaches.  Also tuna is a great source of protein and can be combined with good fruits such as berries and bananas.

Because you need a lot of protein, you need some easier ways to get it.  After all, you can’t spend all day preparing meals!  That’s where protein powder, especially whey protein, comes in.

Whey protein is the ideal protein to take just after a weight workout because you can digest it very quickly.  That means it is fast acting and can get to the muscles you have just worked on, helping them to recover and grow.

Building muscle fast means hitting the weight room, and go easier on the aerobics.  Free weights or weight machines are great and will give you the physique you want if you stick to your workout routine.

Start slowly, paying particular attention to your form.  That’s the way to avoid injuries.  Focus on heavier weights and low reps instead of lighter weights with higher repetitions.
Pretty soon you will begin to grow muscle fast. Of course you will encounter some soreness at the start, but this is to be expected. The phrase “no pain no gain” is never truer that when you want to build muscle fast!
